Description	At JRC-Geel, triple to double coincidence counting (TDCR) is used in many different projects including routine measurements as well as absolute activity measurements. Especially where activities of nuclides in environmental samples have to be determined. Triple to double coincidence counting offers the opportunity to determine the radioactivity in samples in a fast way. The TDCR method is an absolute activity measurement method specially developed for pure beta- and pure EC-emitters activity determination, often used in medical applications.
