Description	The nuclear decommissioning and waste management unit, for supporting its core activities and respond to the obligations of the Italian law, has many laboratories equipped with radiometric instruments that must be calibrated using radioactive calibrated standard sources. Similarly, the radiotoxicology Laboratory utilises those items to guarantee the metrological traceability of the calibrations and analyses performed according to the Bureau International des Poids et Mesures rules.
