Title	Study on quality standards for the treatment of Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE)
Description	The study shall assist the Commission in view of the possible preparation of an implementing act laying down minimum quality standards for treatment of WEEE, or any other policy option to be identified. On the basis of an assessment of the experience from the implementation of specific WEEE treatment requirements in the Member States, the study shall assess the costs and benefits of such possible implementing act in environmental, economic, and social terms. It shall also provide assistance in relation to the drafting of a delegated act laying down the criteria for the assessment of equivalent conditions for the treatment of WEEE outside the EU, taking into consideration existing relevant studies, the European Standards for the treatment of WEEE and any new relevant developments, including at international level.
