Title	Study supporting potential land and soil targets under the 2014 land communication.
Description	The main objective of this study is to assist the Commission services in setting up a suitable framework (targets, objectives, indicators, etc.) for measuring and tracking the status and progress on land-related aspects. Targets which are currently considered include land take, land recycling, EU land demand in third countries, land multi-functionality and similar concepts, as well as soil erosion and soil organic matter. Therefore, the study should assess the proposed targets and, when relevant, suggest alternative and complementary ones. Finally, it shall provide the Commission services with the elements needed to draft an impact assessment report in line with the Commission's standards. In particular, it shall deliver an integrated approach which analyses both benefits and costs, and addresses all significant economic, social and environmental impacts of the proposed targets.
