Title	Support to the Strategic Energy Technologies (SET) Plan Action #6 on Energy Efficiency in Industry
Description	The Integrated Strategic Energy Technology (SET) Plan adopted by the Commission identifies 10 key Actions where research and innovation is needed. Among these key actions, Action 6 aims at "making EU industry less energy intensive and more competitive".Specific new ‘Activities’ have been defined in the Action 6 Implementation Plan to contribute to the targets; they will involve European and National projects conducted in cooperation in several EU Member States and SET Plan Associated Countries in the field of energy and resource efficiency in industry.Tenders will contribute to realising the Implementation Plan (including developing areas and project ideas into actual projects) and to enhance synergies between European and National R&I programmes in EU Member States and SET Plan Associated Countries in the field of energy and resource efficiency and CO2 emissions reduction in industry, as well as supporting the Action 6 Working Group in updating the strategy.
