Title	Identification, assessment, sharing and dissemination of best practices for the humane management of invasive alien species
Description	The objective of this project is to promote the uptake of the best practices for the humane management of invasive alien animals, through lethal or non-lethal measures, without compromising the objectives of Regulation (EU) Nº 1143/2014 on invasive alien species. The project will address in particular animal species included on the list of invasive alien species of Union concern (Commission Implementing Regulations (EU) 2016/1141 and 2017/1263).It shall identify the existing effective management measures for invasive alien animals with a view to eradicate, control and / or contain their populations in order to minimise their impact on biodiversity, the related ecosystem services and where applicable, on human health or the economy. Measures shall be assessed in terms of their cost-effectiveness, how humane they are considered and other possible side-effects. The project shall also target the dissemination of the measures.
