Title	Service contract on market testing for low-carbon innovation support to energy intensive industry and to power generation.
Description	The legislative proposal to revise the EU emissions trading scheme (ETS) after 2020 (COM(2015) 337) includes an Innovation Fund endowed with 450 000 000 ETS allowances to support innovation in low-carbon technologies and processes in industrial sectors listed in Annex I of the ETS Directive 2003/87/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council, and to help stimulate the construction and operation of commercial demonstration projects that aim at the environmentally safe capture and geological storage of CO2 as well as demonstration projects of innovative renewable energy technologies. This service contract should provide support to set up the Innovation Fund (see description of the procurement below).
