Title	A comprehensive assessment of the current waste management situation in south-east Europe and future perspectives for the sector, including options for regional cooperation in recycling of electric and electronic waste.
Description	The contract envisages the production of a study comprising of:— 6 national waste assessments, 1 for each of the western Balkan countries (Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Kosovo, Montenegro and Serbia). The assessment will include a presentation of the current situation in each of the countries in the waste sector and the respective roadmaps for improving waste management,— a maximum of 30 compliance checks of selected national legislation against selected pieces of EU waste 'acquis',— a study on the options for regional cooperation in the area of electric and electronic waste management and their feasibility in practice,— the implementation of 6 national workshops and 1 regional workshop for the exchange and dissemination of information based on the results of the national waste assessments and the study on the options for regional cooperation in the area of electric and electronic waste management.
