(Lot 1) Assist ECDC in identifying methodological needs/gaps as well as existing methodological guidance/tools, assess their relevance and applicability for public health evidence synthesis/systematic reviews, scientific advice and recommendations to support evidence-informed decision-making in public health with a focus on infectious diseases, and develop tailored, user-friendly, practical work guides/toolkits to further enhance the quality of the Centre’s public health scientific advice outputs, and (lot 2) deliver tailored, up-to-date training material and courses to ECDC staff and its stakeholders, to further strengthen knowledge and practical skills in identifying, critically appraising, analysing, presenting and communicating evidence to different target audiences to support evidence informed decision-making, practice and policy in public health with a focus on infectious disease epidemiology, prevention and control.
