Lot 1
Support for Validation and Development of Monetary Environmental Accounts
The services to be purchased for the entire contract period (36 months) are estimated to cover 2 130 man-days (710 man-days per year).As detailed in Point 1.4.2.3 of the tender specifications, there are six tasks as follows:— Task 1 – support for data collection, processing and validation;— Task 2 – gap-filling EPEA and maintenance of the automated solutions;— Task 3 – support for data analysis and dissemination;— Task 4 – design and development of new analysis solutions;— Task 5 – support for methodological handbooks of monetary environmental accounts and other methodological development;— Task 6 – general management of the contract.
Lot 2
Support for Validation and Development of Physical Environmental Accounts
The services to be purchased for the entire contract period (36 months) are estimated to cover 1 380 man-days (460 man-days per year).As detailed in Point 1.4.2.3 of the tender specifications, there are five tasks as follows:— Task 1 – air emissions accounts (AEA);— Task 2 – economy-wide material flow accounts (EW-MFA);— Task 3 – physical energy flow accounts (PEFA);— Task 4 – quarterly air emissions accounts for greenhouse gases (qGHG);— Task 5 – general management of the contract.

Updating, Application, and Further Development of Models to Estimate Raw Material Equivalents (RME Models)
The services to be purchased for the entire contract period (36 months) are estimated to cover 498 man-days (166 man-days per year).As detailed in Point 1.4.2.3 of the tender specifications, there are five tasks as follows:— Task 1 – update and revision of the EU RME model and its documentation, application of the EU RME model to provide updated estimates;— Task 2 – update of the country RME package and its documentation, support to users of the package and national statistical institutes engaging in the estimation of MFA-RME;— Task 3 – implementing, testing and further developing the disaggregation method for Eurostat’s inter-country input-output tables (FIGARO);— Task 4 – support ESTAT in contributing to the international institutionalisation of inter-country input-output databases extended by material flows;— Task 5 – general management of the contract.

Economic Aspects of the Circular Economy and Bio-economy
The services to be purchased for the entire contract period (24 months) are estimated to cover 320 man-days (circa 160 man-days per year).As detailed in Point 1.4.2.3 of the tender specifications, there are five tasks as follows:— Task 1 – extend the multi-purpose estimation solution to the environmental goods and services sector;— Task 2 – update the EGSS practical guide;— Task 3 – produce EGSS comparison solution;— Task 4 – update coefficients thematic sectors;— Task 5 – general management of the contract.

Secondary Raw Materials and Waste Accounting
The services to be purchased for the entire contract period (24 months) are estimated to cover 425 man-days (circa 212 man-days per year).As detailed in Point 1.4.2.3 of the tender specifications, there are four tasks as follows:— Task 1 – compilation of EU waste accounts;— Task 2 – proposals for communication of the waste accounts results;— Task 3 – correspondence tables of EWC-Stat to material flow accounts for 27 Member States;— Task 4 – general management of the contract.
