Title	Strategic environmental impact assessment of development of the Arctic.
Description	Design and carry out a strategic impact assessment, covering political, economic and environmental impacts of development of the Arctic region, as a networked undertaking by leading Arctic communication and research centres and universities in order to facilitate two-way information exchange between the EU institutions and the Arctic stakeholders and foster EU–civil society contacts. The action will test the feasibility of the possible future establishment of the EU Arctic Information Centre as expressed in the Commission's Arctic communication in 2008 and in Parliament's report 'Sustainable EU policy for the high north' in 2011.
