Maintaining and developing the Labour Market Reform database (LABREF)
Please note that this is not a call for tenders but a publication announcing the Contracting authority’s intention to publish a future negotiated low or middle valueprocedure.

LABREF is a descriptive database that records labour market and welfare policy measures introduced by the EU Member States. The database is managed by DG Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion (DG EMPL) in cooperation with the Employment Committee (EMCO). The aim of the project, started in 2005, is to support the work carried out in the framework of the Europe 2020 Strategy and to improve the understanding of labour market institutions as part of the general economic policy surveillance of EU Member States. LABREF has become one of the standard references in the employment field, providing information on adopted reform measures and their key design characteristics. It allows for cross-country analysis on the pace and type of measures enacted in a particular year, as well as for tracking measures over time, thus resulting in an invaluable source of both qualitative and quantitative information. In view of ensuring the capacity of the database to adequately and timely respond to changing needs and priorities, DG EMPL seeks support with updating, maintaining and further developing the database as relevant, including the development of new features and additional entries.
