Description	The objective of this call for tenders is to award a framework service contract for the procurement of SAT-AIS data services to be processed by EMSA’s applications. Lot 1	Low Latency Data – Primary Service	The main objective of lot 1 is the worldwide acquisition of SAT-AIS data with a timeliness of less than 6 minutes, for 95 % of all detected messages per day. Lower latency is considered the main priority and data volume as secondary. Tenderers should be capable to acquire SAT-AIS data from all AIS transponders including class A, and where possible class B.
Lot 2	High Density Data – Backup/Supplementary Service	The main objective of lot 2 is the acquisition of high volumes of SAT-AIS data, with a timeliness not exceeding 45 minutes, for 95 % of all detected messages per day. Data volume is considered as the main priority and latency as secondary. Tenderers should be capable to acquire SAT-AIS data from all AIS transponders including class A, and where possible class B.
