UCA 15/068 Inventory improvement project and related services.
This call for tender addresses the replacement of the current inventory system that is in use at several European institutions. Several entities (see Section I.1 Contracting authority — Name and address) use mobile devices with barcode readers to identify all assets and their location. The inventory system is based on an intermediate server that allows synchronisation of the barcode readers with a central SAP installation. For this inventory improvement project the entities wish to select 1 company that will implement the full project and offer maintenance on it. In this call for tender, the term inventory system is used to indicate the components needed to scan a location and assets via barcodes and to provide the scanned data to the back-end SAP system. A full inventory system is out of scope for this tender.
