Title	Provision of technical support related to target 2 of the EU biodiversity strategy to 2020 - maintaining and restoring ecosystems and their services.
Description	Target 2 of the EU biodiversity strategy focuses on maintaining and enhancing ecosystems and their services by establishing green infrastructure and restoring at least 15 % of degraded ecosystems. The supporting actions related to the implementation of the target are highly technical. This contract aims at providing to the Commission the technical support needed in order to develop them further. This is in particular the case for strengthening of the knowledge base for assessing the state and values of ecosystems and their services, the implementation of a restoration prioritisation framework, the support to the deployment of green infrastructure and TEN-G, integration of biodiversity proofing into the delivery of the major EU funding instruments, and no net loss.
