Title	Purchase of a stand-alone Wavelegth Dispersive X-Ray Fluorescence instrument
Description	The JRC-Geel requires the procurement and installation of a stand-alone (not bench-top, not hand-held) Wavelength Dispersive X-ray Fluorescence (WD-XRF) instrument to support the activities of TOBLAB and the Knowledge Centre for Food Fraud and Quality (KCFFQ). The instrument will be used to identify illicit tobacco and to authenticate food samples based on their geographical origin, botanical variety and manufacture process. The contract must include the supply, assembly and installation of the equipment as well as training of personnel and the maintenance service (including tools and consumables). A warranty period of 24 months needs to be granted from the date of the signature of a certificate of conformity by the Commission. Only tenders that meet all technical requirements listed below will be admitted to the award phase of the present call for tender.
