The objective of lot 1 ‘Brand audit in view of promoting the value of official statistics in the EU’ is to get a brand audit with the help of user feedback, expert analysis and strategic and operational recommendations.
Lot 2
Quality analysis in view of enhancing the value of official statistics in the EU and development of the conceptual elements of a common quality framework for the ESS
The objective of lot 2 ‘Quality analysis in view of enhancing the value of official statistics in the EU and development of the conceptual elements of a common quality framework for the ESS’ is to: — gain an in-depth understanding of the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of a set of European statistics, notably against the quality criteria or components related to quality, in order to have a clear understanding of the quality criteria and perception/image of European statistics, as well as possible trade-offs between these criteria, and to make strategic and operational recommendations on how to improve their market position and recognition, including by better communication, on the information market and, hence, to better meet current and new user needs, — analyse the existing quality management systems, including quality assurance methods and tools and risk management methods in the ESS, in order to develop core values, principles and a model for an enhanced common quality framework, including risk management, with specific elements and requirements and a common vocabulary.
