Support for the Natura 2000 Biogeographical process.
Description
The general objective of this contract is to provide support to the Commission in relation to the implementation and further development of the Natura 2000 Biogeographical process (see: http://ec.europa.eu/environment/nature/natura2000/seminars_en.htm), including in particular the organisation of steering committee meetings and Natura 2000 seminars, the implementation of a Biogeographical Natura 2000 networking programme, the compilation of scientific background information in relation to the process and the maintenance of the Web-based Natura 2000 communication platform (see: http://ec.europa.eu/environment/nature/natura2000/platform/index_en.htm).
