Development of an EU framework to assess the overall impacts of occupational health and safety (OSH) prevention on the performance of construction enterprises.
This is a call for tenders in a form of an open procedure to conclude a service contract for a study aiming to improve the implementation of health and safety (OSH) standards in the construction sector. The overall aim is to have the sector operating under safe and healthy conditions comparable to other sectors of the economy. The implementation of OSH measures brings benefits to workers, enterprises and society. This study will only look at micro-economic benefits of the implementation, i.e. at benefits for the economic performance of enterprises. A specific objective is to present a clear picture of the existing initiatives in OSH prevention in EU Members States which are looking at the overall impacts of OSH prevention on the performance of construction enterprises. Tasks to be carried out by the contractor are further detailed in the tender specifications in Section 1.
