Description	The purpose of this call for tenders is to establish a single framework service contract for each lot with (a) service provider(s) in the area of energy, mobility, air pollution, climate change mitigation and adaptation. The call for tender is split into 2 (two) lots: Lot 1: Energy, mobility and the environment and Lot 2: Air pollution, climate change mitigation and adaptation. The contract may be signed with a different economic operator for each lot.

Lot 1	Expert assistance on energy, mobility and the environment	The transport and energy sectors are of key importance for Europe’s current and future environmental performance, in particular concerning the long-term transitions needed in these sectors by 2050 and beyond in order to address environment and climate-related challenges. Over the next years, continuing assessments by EEA of the environmental performance of the mobility and energy sectors will be necessary. It is expected that such assessments may cover both detailed technical analyses associated with each economic sector, but also going beyond to take an increasingly systemic perspective of Europe’s energy and mobility systems.
Lot 2	Expert assistance on air pollution, climate change mitigation and adaptation	The successful tenderer will support the contracting authorities with the following areas of expertise: Air pollution and climate change mitigation, Climate change impacts, vulnerability and adaptation, as well as Sustainable finance.
