Audit of European Parliament buildings to improve accessibility for people with reduced mobility, particularly those with visual or hearing impairments.
A) Audit of European Parliament buildings (Brussels, Luxembourg and Strasbourg sites), to improve accessibility to European Parliament buildings for people with reduced mobility (PRM), particularly those with visual or hearing impairments, and enhance the mobility of these persons within said buildings.B) Audit of external European Parliament office buildings (information offices and branch offices) located in the Member States of the European Union, to improve accessibility to European Parliament buildings for PRM, particularly those with visual or hearing impairments, and enhance the mobility of these persons within said buildings.C) Study for the installation, in Strasbourg, of a visually impaired people's centre.D) Drafting a general manual (vade mecum) for each site, which shall be a standard document to be used for planning and assessing the activities to be carried out in European Parliament buildings on the site in question.E) Drafting a building accessibility guide for each site, for user access to European Parliament buildings on the site in question.F) Drafting, in plain language, information leaflets for visitors and interested parties regarding the European Parliament's accessibility projects.G) Proposing means of communicating the European Parliament's projects in the field of accessibility for disabled persons, both inside and outside European Parliament buildings.H) Individually-priced assignments which are not explicitly specified in A)–G) above, but which are related to the object of this contract as defined in Article 3.8 of the technical specifications.The audits in A) and B) above are for the buildings currently occupied or to be occupied by the European Parliament during the contract's duration. These audits may also be for buildings that the European Parliament may acquire during the contract's duration and will, if applicable, be the subject of an individually-priced assignment.
