Title
Piloting Digital Competence self-reflection questionnaire for teachers
Description
Please note that this is not a call for tenders but a publication announcing the Contracting authority’s intention to publish a future negotiated low or middle valueprocedure.
The Joint Research Centre is currently developing a self-reflection instrument for educators. Almost 22,000 educators have already completed a trial version (DigCompEdu Check-in), allowing them to reflect on their digital practices, test their practical knowledge and guide them in further developing their skills. Based on psychometric analysis of the trial results, the instrument will be further revised, with a specific focus on teachers in obligatory schooling. The purpose of this contract is related to further piloting and validating the self-reflection tool. The contractor shall run a pre-pilot into one EU Member State (France, Germany, Italy, Portugal or Spain) and a pilot in 3 EU Member States in total, one from each of the three following groups (Group A: Belgium, Estonia, Finland, Netherlands or Sweden / Group B: France, Germany, Italy, Portugal or Spain / Group C: Croatia, Lithuania, Poland, Romania or Slovenia). The pre-pilot shall obtain a minimum of 500 completed questionnaires (minimum 250 from Primary Education & minimum 250 from Secondary Education). The pilot shall cover a minimum of 1,200 completed questionnaires from three EU Member States (3x200 minimum from Primary Education & 3x200 minimum from Secondary Education), filled in by Primary and Secondary Education teachers. JRC-B4 will provide the Contractor with the questionnaire and the tool for the pre-pilot in English language (e.g. questions, answers, demographic information, platform static texts). The tool will be hosted on JRC’s platform and the Contractor will have access to it.
