Title	Mapping and Assessment of Developments for sectoral professions under Directive 2005/36/EC – Veterinary Surgeon
Description	Directive 2005/36/EC on the recognition of professional qualifications as amended by Directive 2013/55/EU lays down the harmonized minimum training requirements for veterinary surgeon. Although these training requirements were reviewed, there were no corresponding changes to the training programs. The study should provide the necessary background information and assessment to assist the Commission in taking an informed decision on whether amendments to the Directive with regard to the minimum training requirements would be appropriate and if so, to what extent.
