Title	Low Background Liquid Scintillation Counter
Description	At JRC-Geel, liquid scintillation counting (LSC) is used to measure radionuclides in a wide variety of samples. At present we have an operational system but maintenance on it becomes more and more cumbersome as spare parts are not produced anymore. To make sure LSC can be performed in the future a new liquid scintillation counter shall be purchased. The instrument can be used in different workpackages for e.g. environmental monitoring, the measurements of medical radionuclides.
