Data provision on sustainable food consumption in EU Member States
Please note that this is not a call for tenders but a publication announcing the Contracting authority’s intention to publish a future negotiated low or middle valueprocedure.
The objective of this contract is to provide data on food consumption (e.g. scanner data, retail database, consumer panels) that would allow to identify patterns, dynamics and potentially drivers of sustainable diet across EU Member States with the purpose to provide scientific support for the EU Farm to Fork Strategy. The contractor is expected to provide data that will allow to analyze several aspects related to the sustainable food consumptions over time such as: consumption of different products or categories of products and their market shares (e.g. dairy, meat, fruits and vegetables), identification of different sustainable types of products or categories of products (e.g. organic, plant based substitutes/alternatives for animal products, environmental and sustainability labelling, health claims), prices of products or product categories, and consumption patterns/dynamics by consumer characteristics.
