Description	The JRC Petten plans to purchase a scanning electron microscope (SEM) to perform high resolution imaging and analysis during micro-mechanical testing. The SEM workstation will support scientific activities in nuclear safety and in nuclear science applications. For that purpose, the system will include energy dispersive x-ray (EDX) and will be compatible with the device for in-situ micro-mechanical testing in use at JRC Petten.
