Title	Water for citizens - support to the Commission policy activities on the Bathing Water, Drinking Water and Urban Waste Water Treatment Directives.
Description	Framework contract ‘Water for citizens’ for support to the implementation of the water industry directives including the Bathing Water Directive (Directive 2006/7/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council), the Drinking Water Directive (Council Directive 98/83/EC) and the Urban Waste Water Treatment Directive (Council Directive 91/271/EEC).This includes regular reporting exercises, case studies to ensure technical and scientific support, assessments on implementing or policy review aspects, regular meetings and, if necessary, infringement cases. The tasks carried out under the contract shall also contribute to ensuring that the implementation of the 3 directives fulfils the objectives and introduces the new elements described in the Implementation Communication (COM(2012) 95 final) of 7.3.2012.
