Titel	Conversion factor study
Beskrivelse	Please note that this is not a call for tenders but a publication announcing the Contracting authority’s intention to publish a future negotiated low or middle value procedure (read more here). The European Commission, Directorate General Joint Research Center (JRC) located in Geel (Belgium) intents to buy a study on the determination of conversion factors (CF) for GMO Certified Reference Materials (CRMs). The conversion factors need to be determined experimentally in-house and confirmed by external laboratories. The CF are needed to convert and express GM results in mass fraction. This call is exceptionally also open to tenders located in a country included in the Global Procurement Agreements (GPA). GPA is a plurilateral agreement within the framework of the WTO (World Trade Organization), aimed at opening the government procurement markets to its parties. This exception shall not be interpreted a precedent or obligation for the future of the European Union.
