Titel
Support to EU Film Festivals - phase II
Beschreibung
The proposed action will strengthen the EU's ability to engage meaningfully with selected audiences in third countries fostering mutual understanding and intercultural dialogue. It will facilitate the organisation of EU Film Festivals through the creation of a repository of European films and the organisation of side-events that will create spaces for intercultural dialogue. The action will prepare a curated repository of high quality European movies (e.g. selection, negotiation/acquisition of rights, distribution, consolidation of existing repositories of available European movies, subtitling) and will also provide technical assistance (e.g. hiring of curators, support for local partnerships, and support in branding and communication activities) to the organization of EU Film Festivals in selected partner countries across the world.
