Patents for Industrial Pollution Prevention and Control
Please note that this is not a call for tenders but a publication announcing the Contracting authority’s intention to publish a future negotiated low or middle valueprocedure.

Techniques for Industrial Pollution Prevention and Control, as described in the so-called BREF documents published by JRC, shall be used to identify patents with relevance for those techniques. This shall be done by complex machine-learning algorithms which can process natural-language descriptions as provided in the BREF documents and in patents. The results will be used to assess the capabilities of the EU and its regions towards advancing these technologies and contributing to the implementation of the Green transition.
