Title	State support schemes for RDI in the EU's international competitors in the fields of science, research and innovation.
Description	The study will describe and analyse the State support schemes and relevant legislation in Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, India, Japan, Russia, South Korea and United States, granted to stimulate RDI investments as well as their enforcement or control. It will assess the appropriateness of the EU regulation on RDI State aid to stimulate private RDI investments and achieve economic growth, competitiveness and employment compared to State support RDI schemes practiced within the 9 aforementioned countries and their effciency. The study will then put forward recommendations to assist the Commission in (a) the expected mid-term review of the EU's regulation on RDI State aid for the period post-2016 and (b) to explore further the role of the Research and Innovation policy in the delivery of Europe 2020.
