Title	Study on climate benefits of material substitution by forest biomass and harvested wood products: perspective 2030.
Description	The overall objective of this study is to provide reliable data and analysis on the overall climate change mitigation potential associated with harvested wood products (HWPs). The time-framing of the study will be 1960–2030, in order to inform future EU and Member States' policies related to climate change mitigation in relevant activities. It will also address a series of sub-objectives such as: identifying further research needs; investigating the demand and supply of biomass type (hardwood, softwood, etc.); understanding carbon flows associated with HWP; establishing a clear methodology for assessing cascade life cycles.
