Title	Technical and scientific support in relation to the delivery of the ‘Action plan for nature, people and the economy’ - actions 1, 2 and 13.
Description	The overall objective of this contract is to provide technical and scientific support to the Commission in relation to the delivery of actions 1, 2 and 13 of the ‘Action plan for nature, people and the economy’ aiming at better implementation of the Birds Directive (Directive 2009/147/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council) and the Habitats Directive (Council Directive 92/43/EEC). This support covers the elaboration or updating of guidance documents; the preparation of summaries of guidance documents and translations of those summaries, as well as translations of a number of guidance documents, and ensuring the dissemination of guidance documents across the Member States; the development of a support mechanism for Member States enabling them to fulfil site permitting and species protection requirements under the Birds and Habitats Directives; and the knowledge exchange and engagement of local and regional authorities through a joint platform with the European Committee of the Regions.
