Title	Innovative Actions and Strategies to Boost Public Awareness, Trust and Acceptance of Trans-European Energy Infrastructure Projects
Description	The general objective is to increase public acceptance towards the development of trans-European energy infrastructure projects (PCIs) that would speed up the implementation of key electricity and gas infrastructure necessary for the completion of the EU internal energy market. In order to ensure public acceptance, the Commission needs to identify key regions where acceptance of infrastructure projects by the public opinion is most challenging. In these regions, the Commission wishes to support the implementation of projects by designing and engaging in a tailored communication campaign with a regional focus that would build trust. The campaign would openly address grid development issues, while at the same time offer clarifications on local benefits and concerns in the process of energy infrastructure development.
