Epidemiological Expertise to Support Topics Related to Regulation (EU) 2016/429 or Animal Health Law
Regulation (EU) 2016/429 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 9 March 2016 on transmissible animal diseases and amending and repealing certain acts in the area of animal health lays down rules for the prevention and control of animal diseases which are transmissible to animals or to humans. EFSA has been requested to provide support to the European Commission via scientific opinions that would form the basis for the production of amending and implementing acts supporting Regulation 2016/429. This tender is divided into two lots:Lot 1: Review of existing literature and other sources of relevant data in the field of antimicrobial resistance (AMR), with a further literature review focused on the selected AMR bacteria;Lot 2: Assessment of preparedness, control, eradication and mitigation measures, to include a review of relevant literature, available data and/or any other source of information for listed diseases and their plausible further analysis.
