Communication Support Activities
The European Centre for disease prevention and control wishes to conclude framework contracts in support to its communication activities, focusing on two areas:(a) EU public affairs and PR services,(b) media monitoring and analysis. These services will support the in-house communication capacity in the Director’s Office and, through them, the whole centre.

Lot 1
EU Public Affairs and PR Work
The work under this lot will support ECDC in the area of branding, outputs and PR activities, as well as preparation of communication Toolkits and material for policy makers and influencers. It will focus on the following four areas: understanding ECDC's reputation and measuring the impact of its communications; stakeholder mapping and engagement support; support to national communication campaigns; promotion of ECDC and its outputs.

Media Monitoring and Analysis
ECDC requires daily media monitoring services and, based on the results of this monitoring exercise during the calendar year, an annual summary report providing both quantitative and qualitative analyses of ECDC external communications activities. The service provided would include access for ECDC staff to an online database of collected media clippings and tools for analysis. The objective of this monitoring is to measure ECDC visibility and reputation.
