The European Parliament wishes to offer its staff a series of training courses on security and safety taking account of the specific features of the European Parliament's work environment. As well as a level of basic training, Parliament wishes to provide each staff member with advanced and refresher courses.

First-aid and Fire Training Courses in Belgium
These basic training and refresher courses must be in full accordance with the programmes provided for by the national legislation and the regulations in force at the time they take place. The volume of services to be provided during the duration of the framework contract is estimated around 282 training sessions. Details of the content of the lot are set out in the procurement documents.
Lot 2-SECO-FR

These basic training and refresher courses must be in full accordance with the programmes provided for by the national legislation and the regulations in force at the time they take place. The volume of services to be provided during the duration of the framework contract is estimated around 84 training sessions. Lot 3-SECO-LU
First-aid and Fire Training Courses in Luxembourg
These basic training and refresher courses must be in full accordance with the programmes provided for by the national legislation and the regulations in force at the time they take place. The volume of services to be provided during the duration of the framework contract is estimated around 90 training sessions. Training in Security Checks in Belgium
These basic training and refresher courses are intended to acquire and maintain the capacity of Parliament’s security staff in the area of checking persons, bags and property and vehicles. Unless stated otherwise, participants who are successful must receive a certificate recognised by the national authorities. The volume of services to be provided during the duration of the framework contract is estimated around 215 training sessions. Details of the content of the lot are set out in the procurement documents.

Training in Security Checks in France
These basic training and refresher courses are intended to acquire and maintain the capacity of Parliament’s security staff in the area of checking persons, bags and property and vehicles. Unless stated otherwise, participants who are successful must receive a certificate recognised by the national authorities. The volume of services to be provided during the duration of the framework contract is estimated around 73 training sessions. Physical Protection Training in Belgium
The aim of these courses is to acquire and maintain the capacities of Parliament’s security personnel to detect, avoid, deal with and, as far as possible, neutralise a physical attack. Unless stated otherwise, successful participants must receive a certificate recognised by the national authorities. The volume of services to be provided during the duration of the framework contract is estimated around 225 training sessions. The aim of these courses is to acquire and maintain the capacities of Parliament’s security personnel to detect, avoid, deal with and, as far as possible, neutralise a physical attack. The volume of services to be provided during the duration of the framework contract is estimated around 65 training sessions.
