Description	The European Parliament acting as the Contracting Authority on behalf of the Council of the European Union, the European Court of Auditors, the European Economic and Social Committee and the Committee of the Regions has decided to issue this invitation to tender to conclude framework contracts (FWCs) for the supply of translation services of monolingual and multilingual source language documents (EN/FR/DE/IT/ES) into Bulgarian, Croatian, Irish, Lithuanian, Maltese, Polish, Romanian, Slovene and Spanish.Estimated maximum volumes of standard pages to be translated per year (non-contractually binding):• European Parliament: 210 000;• Council of the European Union: 2 800;• European Court of Auditors: 28 000;• European Economic and Social Committee: 36 000;• European Committee of the Regions: 22 500.Total per year: 299 300.

Conditions for participation

Suitability to pursue the professional activity, including requirements relating to enrolment on professional or trade registers	For natural persons: legible photocopy of the identity card or a passport and a document issued by the competent authority proving the VAT/tax number. If a natural person does not have the VAT/tax number at the time of submission of the tender, he/she will be requested to provide it following the award and before the signature of the FWC.For legal persons: copy of some official document showing the name of the legal entity, the registration address, the VAT/tax number and the registration number given by the national authorities.
