Description	As part of the railway transport development programme included in the five-year plan for the Tunisian sector, this Technical Assistance (TA) will finance a team of experts to carry out design and engineering studies for the first phase of the restoration of line 11, connecting Kalâa Sghira to the city of Kasserine and to access routes to the city of Kairouan. This TA will include the update of a previous preliminary draft study (Avant-projet sommaire - APS) carried out in 2017, the development of the APD study (including the choice of the final scenario resulting from the APS, a feasibility study for a multimodal interchange hub around the train stations of Kairouan and Kalâa Sghira), and the preparation of tender documents (Dossier d'appel d'offres - DAO) for the infrastructure and superstructure works phase.
