Pealkiri	Support to EU Arctic policy
Kirjeldus	This action aims to support the implementation of EU new policy for the Arctic.This contract shall allow the EU to consolidate further its presence and visibility on the global scale and in international processes on different Arctic strategic priorities (e.g. tackling climate change and environmental degradation, transport, connectivity, sustainable economic development including raw materials, research and innovation, science diplomacy, security and defence, energy, maritime security and safety, health security or ocean governance). It will also aim to support the promotion of EU interests, standards and values, and enhance EU’s role as a key actor. The action will include two components:1. A policy support facility for a peaceful, sustainable and prosperous Arctic, which will act in a flexible way to respond quickly to emerging needs.2. Support to EU-Arctic Urban/Regional cooperation through exchanges of knowledge and best practices with a peer-to-peer approach.
