As JRC is developing performance requirements for handheld detectors, it is essential for us to acquire a handheld Raman spectrometer build at a longer excitation wavelength such as 1064 nm. This will facilitate quick verification of testing methodology and a possibility to quickly respond to other inquiries or issues reported by DG HOME, Member States or industry.
