Otsikko	Piloting SELFIE for work-based learning contexts in VET (SELFIE WBL)
Kuvaus	SELFIE (Self-reflection on Effective Learning by Fostering the use of Innovative Educational Technologies) is a tool designed to help schools embed digital technologies into teaching, learning and student assessment. SELFIE gathers – anonymously – the views of students, teachers and school leaders on how technology is used in their school. The aim of this contract is to conduct pilot studies of SELFIE for work-based learning contexts (WBL) in Vocational Education and training (VET) in various Member States to test the tool and receive feedback in view of the improvement of the tool before its eventual online launch. More specifically, the goal is to develop, implement and validate the SELFIE WBL tool that can be useful to VET schools, companies and policymakers at local, regional, national or EU level. This will support the development of a consolidated SELFIE WBL module with a set of standardised questionnaires and well-functioning tool website. It will allow VET schools and companies to self-reflect jointly; track their progress in integrating digital learning technologies and resources (DLT&R) over time; compare themselves with others; identify strong points and areas for improvement; and raise their digital maturity level. The SELFIE WBL module will be user friendly and relevant to VET schools and companies and will enable education policy makers to design, implement and appraise programmes, projects and policy interventions for the integration of DLT&R in education systems across Europe. The contractor must produce the following results: • The translation and adaptation of SELFIE WBL and supporting materials; • The piloting of SELFIE WBL tool in a number of VET schools and companies; • The coordination of the piloting of SELFIE WBL and the supporting qualitative research, including the conduction of case studies; • A final report summarizing the process of and lessons learnt from the piloting of SELFIE WBL tool in a number of VET schools and companies.; • A brief summary document on the pilot.; • A list of digital tools used in the WBL sector.
