Naziv	Pulse Transformer for Modulators
Opis	The European Commission (Directorate general Joint Research Center (JRC) in Geel intends to purchase high power (50MVA peak) pulse transformers designed to transfer a high tension pulse to a load, which in our application is a klystron TH2155 from Thales. These pulse transformers provide galvanic insolation whilst allowing fast pulse signals to be transmitted without distorting the pulse shape. The input and output signal are typically rectangular wave of up to 24KV on the input and 220KV on the output with a repetition rate up to 800Hz. These transformers have a low number of windings to minimize flux leakage and low inter-winding capacitance to ensure that the profile of the signal is maintained on the secondary as cleanly as possible (our request is a droop at flat-top < 1% for pulses up to 4.5µsec). As they operate with high frequency signals (large bandwidth), the core material must be able to cope with repeated and rapid magnetization and demagnetization.
