Titolo	The determination of density and the dimensions of glass fibre boards
Descrizione	Please note that this is not a call for tenders but a publication announcing the Contracting authority’s intention to publish a future negotiated low or middle value procedure (read more here). The determination of density and the dimensions of glass fibre boards is required for the distribution of ERM-FC440. The contract concerns the determination of the dimensions, thickness and density of glass fibre insulation material. The material is available in the following size: • approximately 30 cm x 30 cm • approximately 50 cm x 50 cm • approximately 60 cm x 60 cm The thickness of all boards is about 28 mm. The following tasks shall be performed for each board: • Conditioning at 23 °C/50 % humidity • Determinations of lateral dimensions: two measurements each of length and width per board • Determination of thickness at 4 points at 250 Pa according to EN 823 • Determination of mass (one measurement per board) • Calculation of the apparent density from the mass and the average length, width and height. • .....
