Aprašymas	Please note that this is not a call for tenders but a publication announcing the Contracting authority’s intention to publish a future negotiated low or middle valueprocedure. Temperature-related mortality is one of the main impacts associated with climate change. Better understanding the degree to which environmental factors affect human health is crucial if the impact of climate change is to be fully appreciated. Also, as extreme weather events become more frequent, correct reporting and attribution is needed for effective evidence-based responses and to guide local, national, and global adaptation. The overall objective of the contract is to revisit the epidemiological characterisation of the temperature-mortality association (both heat- and cold-related) using spatially resolved climate reanalysis data at a global level (to the extent possible), comparing these to the current associations based on observational data. As a secondary objective, these revisited functions will be used to obtain temperature-related mortality projections associated to climate change under different socioeconomic scenarios.
