Virsraksts	Social impacts of EU circular economy policies (SIMCEP)
Apraksts	Please note that this is not a call for tenders but a publication announcing the Contracting authority’s intention to publish a future negotiated low or middle value procedure (read more here). The objective of the contract is an in-depth exploratory study of the social impacts of CE policies for the EU. This includes a literature review of socioeconomic impacts of CE policies, based on which a typology of CE policies will be developed. Then EU Commission public Impact Assessments and evaluations are analysed in terms of how they have (or have not) assessed socio-economic impacts. Drawing on these insights, the final analysis will collect recommendations for the JRC on how to carry out comprehensive socio-economic impact studies in the context of the Better Regulation guidelines. The outcome of the contract will serve ex-ante policy analysis resulting in improved regulations/policies.
