Deskrizzjoni	Please note that this is not a call for tenders but a publication announcing the Contracting authority’s intention to publish a future negotiated low or middle valueprocedure. Leasing of Explosive Detection System for Cabbin Baggage (EDS-CB) Equipment. JRC-GEEL has the intention to set up a contract for the leasing of an Explosive Detection System for Cabin Baggage (EDS-CB) with computed tomography. This equipment is required to measure and validate the properties of test materials that the JRC is developing. These test materials are explosives simulants –i.e. harmless materials that mimic the relevant properties of explosives in the eyes of x-ray detection equipment, and can therefore be used to test that Explosive Detection Systems for Cabin Baggage (EDS-CB) are working correctly. GPA is a plurilateral agreement within the framework of the WTO (World Trade Organization), aimed at opening the government procurement markets to its parties. This call is open to GPA.
