Deskrizzjoni	Please note that this is not a call for tenders but a publication announcing the Contracting authority’s intention to publish a future negotiated low or middle valueprocedure. A desk top Magnatron Sputterr is for the physical vapour deposition of thin layers of Al, Au and Carbon on thin layer Polyimide foils. The TARGET lab provides the client (physicists CERN, GELINA, Monnet) with thin layer Polyimide targets, some of the requests require a conductive layer to be deposited on the Polyimide foil. With the existing equipment, we are only able to deposit an Au layer, which is not always acceptable to the client. This piece of equipment will allow us to develop thin layers of other material and supplement/replace the old Au thermal evaporator.
