It-titlu	Quantification of amino acids in hydrolysed protein solutions by means of high-performance amino acid analysis (AAA)
Deskrizzjoni	Please note that this is not a call for tenders but a publication announcing the Contracting authority’s intention to publish a future negotiated low or middle valueprocedure. EC-JRC requests to order high-performance amino acid analysis (AAA) measurements on four different candidate reference materials. The materials are pure native and recombinant protein toxins in solution. The samples will be quantitatively hydrolysed at EC-JRC and shall be analysed by the tenderer. Per analyte, 12 measurements shall be performed, whereby on each of the 3 measurement days, 4 measurements shall be performed. Calibration samples and QC samples are to be analysed in addition in each measurement series. A validated method has to be applied. The results shall be reported per amino acid (those amino acids the lab routinely uses for quantification). Timelines for results are February 2022 for the first two analytes and April 2022 for the other two analytes. The measurement results are needed in order to have to have qualitatively and quantitatively enough data for assigning protein mass fraction (and/or protein mass concentration) values to the materials.
