African Continental Qualifications Framework: a fresh look at Competence-based training (technical vocational education and training) – review and handbook
Please note that this is not a call for tenders but a publication announcing the Contracting authority’s intention to publish a future negotiated low or middle valueprocedure.

Objective The services aim to review and enhance knowledge on CBT in TVET in Africa, and to propose a harmonised approach contributing to a common understanding of the interpretation, application, and continuous improvement of CBT. Outputs The two major outputs of the services are interconnected. The first step is a concise review of CBT in TVET in Africa, based on the literature, survey, interviews with key resource persons, and other methods (e.g.: focus groups). The choice and formulation of the questions for the CBT review should be oriented to the areas of interest of the harmonised understanding of CBT, which is to be described in the CBT handbook.
